For over seven years I had been suffering from stomach, bowel, and internal disorders, nervousness, and other discords too numerous to mention, without any relief whatever from the various physicians I visited. About two years and a half ago, I heard of Christian Science, and, man's extremity being God's opportunity, I took up the subject heart and soul to find out just what it contained. I learned these truths: "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings" (Science and Health, Pref. p. vii), and also that God, good, is an ever present help in trouble. Since then all discordant conditions have passed into their native nothingness. My little girl had pneumonia twice, and I relied upon Christian Science absolutely; also sore throat and influenza have been overcome both by my husband and little ones, only through declaring and realizing the truth, which makes free.

I am very grateful to God for all the healings and blessings, and very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for having left us such a wealth of literature, which is a source of comfort to those seeking the truth—especially the Lesson-Sermons.
