Akron, Ohio (First Church).—Rev. Andrew J. Graham, lecturer; introduced by Alfred Herberich, who said in part:—

Christian Science does not really purport to be anything new; it only purports to be a rediscovery or rebirth of the teachings of our great Master, Jesus the Christ, in their entirety. Christian Science is not destructive, but constructive and positive. Therefore it does not desire to take away from humanity anything of comfort or good. It has no quarrels with the Christian religions or the Christian church or any of its denominations. It is Christianity. Rather, in the spirit expressed in some of the words of our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, on page 99 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Christian Scientists follow her when she says, "I love mankind, and shall continue to labor and to endure."
