The grateful testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals and at the Wednesday evening meetings all over the world are showing the truth that God is appearing to us and that we are beginning to see Him as He is. I was confirmed in an orthodox church and was a member of it until I joined The Mother Church, but I never understood God nor believed the promises Jesus gave us until I gained some understanding of Christian Science through "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. This understanding has made possible many proofs. Knowing that man's only heritage is from our Father, God, I have taken off glasses and have not suffered from headache nor burning eyes since. I have been healed of catarrh, stomach trouble, and a growth on my eyelid. Before coming into Christian Science I had difficulty fitting shoes to my feet, because the bones of one instep seemed to be spread and at night my foot would cramp so that I would have to get up and step on it to get the bones back. This condition has been healed and the foot causes no trouble.

I am glad that the truth has been manifested in physical freedom, but words cannot express my gratitude for the purified thought and the understanding of Love. I have proved that, as Mrs. Eddy says on page 57 of Science and Health, "human affection is not poured forth vainly, even though it meet no return. Love enriches the nature, enlarging, purifying, and elevating it."
