I desire to offer my heartfelt gratitude for regeneration through Christian Science. After almost four years' experience of increasing benefits derived from it, I can with absolute certainty add my testimony to that of thousands.

Near the end of 1914 I first heard Christian Science clearly expounded, and found it to be simply the teaching of Jesus the Christ. At that time I had exhausted medical skill. Nine reputable doctors had at various times treated me, but material remedies failed to heal me of a severe nervous disease which had for fourteen years blighted my life. It appeared to be incurable, but under Christian Science treatment, lasting about fourteen days, it has permanently disappeared. Though more than three years have elapsed, no slightest symptom of the condition has ever recurred. Soon after beginning the study of Christian Science, while traveling in another country, I was healed of a severe attack of dysentery through reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. The recovery was without convalescence after four days and five nights of acute illness, and no weakness remained.

Christian Science has also overthrown other beliefs in sickness. During an epidemic, when many were confined to their beds with influenza, I was healed after twenty-four hours' study and prayer. Very severe nervous headaches, which invariably accompanied the summer weather, are things of the past, and chronic bowel trouble for which medicine had been taken daily for many years has yielded to the truth. As with most of those who have benefited through Christian Science, the deepest gratitude of my heart is for the regenerating power it possesses, changing fear into trustful reliance on God, unforgiveness and hate into love which strives to reach the ideal of the Christian Scientist,—the reflection of Love "impartial and universal," to use Mrs. Eddy's words on page 13 of Science and Health.
