I thank Thee, Father, for Thy truthThat teaches us of heaven within;That makes us pure and brave and strong,And frees us from the grasp of sin.

I thank Thee, Father, for Thy lightThat guides us e'en in darkest hour;Turning the long night into day,Revealing to us Thine All-power.
