During the four years in which I have been a student of Christian Science I have found that whenever we understandingly apply the rules laid down for us by Mrs. Eddy in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" to any of our problems, the right results are always demonstrated. I am grateful for our textbook. It has enabled me to understand many things in the Bible which were before a mystery, and has changed my belief in a God afar off to faith in God, the divine Principle, the creator of every right idea. I am grateful for the practitioners who lovingly helped me through many trials, and for class teaching which changed my faith into understanding, for I can now see how to be active in good and am glad to join with the army of faithful workers who are striving each day to uplift consciousness so that all the world may feel the influence of this wonderful truth. I am grateful, too, for the Sunday school, where our children are learning to trust our Father-Mother God more and more every day. When I look back over the trials we have come through, such as measles, sprained ankle, tonsillitis, blood poisoning, infantile paralysis, influenza, and many other ills, I can rejoice that we have made some progress and can teach our children how to put on the whole armor of God so as to protect themselves from the suggestions of error.

We feel it is impossible for people to realize how much we owe to Mrs. Eddy until they have experienced the beneficent effects of the healing power of this truth she labored so long and unselfishly to share with others, and we are grateful that she has explained it so clearly that those who are willing to leave all and cast their nets on the right side may help others as she did.
