"If ye continue in my word, ... ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Through several years of earnest study and application of the truth in our little family, never once has this promise failed in fulfillment. Words cannot express our gratitude for the many proofs we have had in the freedom from disease and sin which has followed sincere, earnest application of Christian Science.

Not for healing, but because we had all but lost our faith in the orthodox teaching about God, did we seek Christian Science, and we have truly found that the right understanding of Him is the healing. A nervous disorder pronounced incurable by specialists, and for which no healing was sought in Science, as I deemed any cure impossible, has been completely overcome simply through the enlightenment gained by the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. Also, smallpox, chicken pox, measles, and croup have been overcome, and the innumerable daily problems of a family with two children have been solved, proving daily—yes, hourly—that freedom from manmade bondage is surely ours when we know the truth.

Our thankfulness to God is to-day supreme for the privilege and opportunity of using and proving His wonderful truth. Our gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, is second only to our gratitude to Jesus of Nazareth, for she has surely made plain again the way marked out by the Master.
