Christian Science has been a help to me physically, morally, mentally, and spiritually, and I am indeed thankful to God and grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who brought again to a needy world the truth about healing as Jesus taught it. About seven years ago I received my first glimpse of the Christ, Truth. I was suffering from a disease similar to that of the woman spoken of in Mark's gospel, who touched Christ's garment and was healed. I, too, was healed, with never a return of the trouble.

At the time I called for help in Christian Science I was in bed and had been under a doctor's care for five or six weeks, but the practitioner asked me to drive over to see her, a distance of seven miles, and said she would give me a treatment so that I would be able to do this. A girl in our home therefore dressed me and drove me to the next town, and as I was no worse for the trip I went back again in a few days. In three weeks I was completely healed and in two weeks more was doing my own work. I have since been healed of broken arches and have laid off glasses, which had been worn for seven years. Our three youngest children were healed of typhoid fever. The two youngest had pneumonia with it. Before these children had fully recovered the oldest boy took the disease and asked for a physician. He was more care than the three others together, as I had so many man-made laws to comply with. One boy was run over by an automobile ambulance, but in three days he was up and walked. Mumps, smallpox, a skin disease, and many other discordant conditions have been overcome through Christian Science.

To say that we are grateful to Christian Science is not enough; I would proclaim it from the housetops. My daily prayer is for understanding of the truth and more light. I hope this testimony may help others to know that God is the same yesterday, to-day, and forever.
