The testimonies in our periodicals have been such a help to me that I am grateful for the privilege of giving mine. I took up the study of Christian Science almost four years ago with one desire,—to see if I could find a God in whom I could believe. Before reading very far I found God, and it was indeed the new birth to me. It brought me more joy and happiness than I ever experienced before, and also a love for all mankind. By that first reading my little boy, a year old, was healed of bowel trouble, which he had had from the day he was born. I have continued my study daily and since that time the truth has been our only physician. A baby was born a year and four months after I turned to Christian Science. The birth was painless and was a beautiful proof to me that God is All-in-all. I had a practitioner and a Christian Science nurse. Our two children have been helped many times. Colds, croup, burns, fevers, and a bad cut have been healed instantaneously. I have been freed to a great extent from fear, worry, anxiety, selfishness, resentment, sorrow, and discouragement. Other members of our family have taken up the study. We have been living in small towns the last year where there are no churches, but we rejoice that we cannot be separated from the true church, which Mrs. Eddy explains in Science and Health (p. 583) as "the structure of Truth and Love."

I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy for living such a pure life that this truth was revealed to her to give to the world. I am also grateful for the Lesson-Sermons and all the authorized literature.
