I wish to express my gratitude through the Sentinel for the many blessings that have been bestowed on me and mine. While visiting my parents some years ago I became interested in Christian Science. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy was brought into the home by a friend, and it brought peace, comfort, and harmony. I read the book for hours and found it to be what I had been searching for from childhood. I have been healed of burns, headache, toothache, also of a severely sprained ankle. I slipped on the porch steps and with difficulty limped into the house. The thought that was uppermost in my mind was the "scientific statement of being," which is found on page 468 of Science and Health. In half an hour I could walk without inconvenience and the next morning there was no pain or swelling. With the loving help of a practitioner I was healed of influenza with all the symptoms of pneumonia in less than twenty-four hours. My husband has been freed from severe ear trouble, and tonsillitis was overcome in one treatment.

I am indeed grateful for the physical and mental healing, but especially for the spiritual uplift that came when one very dear to me passed on. God was a very present help and comforter. My prayer each day is that I may know more of the truth.—
