A little over four years ago, a neighbor in Chicago handed me a copy of the Sentinel to read. I knew very little of Christian Science at that time, but read the articles and thought them very beautiful and inspiring, so asked for more literature. A short time after this I was taken with a seemingly severe case of tonsillitis and became quite ill. Members of my family insisted upon calling a physician, but I desired Christian Science treatment above all else. Having read the splendid testimonies of healing in the periodicals, I knew that I too could be healed, and so a practitioner was called. In two treatments I was entirely healed, and was about my household duties the second day just as strong and well as before. After this I wanted to learn more of this truth, so purchased "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. The study of this book in connection with the Bible has gained for me a better understanding of Truth, for which I am very grateful.

My husband was healed in a few treatments of a growth on his neck, which had, previous to his coming into Science, caused him considerable trouble. Our little girl has been healed of whooping cough and bronchitis. While very grateful for the physical healings, I am more grateful for the spiritual uplift, and my earnest desire is to learn more of this saving truth. The study and application of Christian Science truly brings the peace of mind that passes all understanding. My heart overflows with gratitude for this beautiful religion of Love, and my daily prayer is that I may reflect more love.
