[Written for the Sentinel]

Truth's Prism

It glistens in the mellow glow of God's unending morn, A beacon star to light the way for legions yet unborn. Through Holy Writ, through hearts that serve with loving thought and deed, Truth's healing luster sheds a ray for every human need.

When doubt would seem to dim this light, and error bids us stray, Have we not God to love us still, and Christ to show the way? Then gird thy loins and face the heavens, O mortals bent with care.

Truth wins the heart of him who sees the perfect image there.
