Over nine years ago Christian Science was brought to my notice by a friend. At that time I suffered from headaches that sometimes laid me up for a few days. I had worn glasses for eighteen years, suffering agony at times from inflammation of the eyes, and was told I could never go without them. Soon after I took up the study of Christian Science the headaches disappeared, and one year later the glasses were put aside. I have no trouble with my eyes now, and can use them for work I could not do before.

Three years ago I had a severe attack of stomach trouble and was healed by absent treatment in a few days, not being away from work one day. I was greatly uplifted as a result of this healing. A bee sting was overcome by holding to the truth. Those about me awaiting the usual results from a sting were surprised to find no trace of it in a short time. In my work as a children's nurse I have seen temper and disobedience give place to love and obedience after a few minutes' realization of Truth. A few months ago influenza attacked me. Absent treatment was asked for and the healing though slow was perfect.

There is no church and there are no Christian Scientists near where my work keeps me, so it is a great joy when an opportunity comes to be present at a service or lecture. I am thankful to God for all the blessings and happiness experienced, also grateful to Mrs. Eddy.
