It is with a heart full of loving gratitude that I give this testimony of my healing in Christian Science. Six years ago I was full of despair, for my future seemed so hopeless. Materia medica could do no more for me. I had undergone two major operations, but each one left me in a worse condition. I turned to Christian Science at the request of my husband and only as a last resort, with no hope of being really benefited. In three months I was happier than ever before, for I had learned that my body does not rule my life, that I do not need to fear it; and I was free. Kidney and bladder trouble of a serious nature, a nervous disease, and the need of glasses then disappeared. This is only the first of many beautiful healings we have had through reliance on divine Love.

I am thankful to God for Mrs. Eddy, for her love for all mankind, and for her understanding of the all-power of Truth that caused her to stand steadfast and firm when the whole world seemed against her. I am also grateful for the workers in the field, and for the loving patience that has helped me all the way.
