It is with a heart overflowing with gratitude to God for the many blessings I have received through Christian Science that I send this testimony. At a time of great, physical and mental distress I turned to Christian Science, because fear of a very serious operation, from which there seemed no escape, induced me to try that which I had scorned and scoffed at. This healing alone saved my life. I have also been healed of heart trouble, of frequent and severe headaches, and of an acute throat trouble, which for the greater part of my life had kept me confined to the house for days and sometimes weeks every winter. Through learning to know God as Life, Truth, and Love my thought is changing and I am learning to see myself and others as God's children, "individual, perfect, eternal" (Science and Health, p. 115). This has changed me from a delicate to a healthy woman. From childhood I suffered intensely from fear in almost every way, but the knowledge that "perfect love casteth out fear" is overcoming that condition also.

While I turned to Christian Science for physical healing, it has brought me much more. It has made me a grateful, happy woman, and many times has brought to me a peace which indeed "passeth all understanding." That I can trust God with every problem and that God, divine Love, is caring for and protecting His creation, I have had abundant and positive proof. I am most grateful to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the revelation of this wonderful truth.
