I am very grateful for what Christian Science has done for me and mine. For many years I suffered from what the doctors called incurable chronic bowel trouble, and I underwent three operations by the best doctors we could get. They also claimed I had tubercular disease of the lungs, and that the left lung was badly affected. For years I continually took medicine, but was never free from suffering.

In this darkest hour a dear neighbor gave me two copies of the Sentinel, and after reading them I was sure I had found the real Physician. Very soon another friend lent me Science and Health, and great joy came to me. I was healed completely before I read this precious book half through. That was about ten years ago. My husband and I could not get along now without this healing truth. Rheumatism and other ills have also been overcome. I am very grateful for all that this teaching means to me and mine, for all our periodicals, and for class instruction. More than all else I am thankful to God, and grateful to our beloved Leader for her faithful work in making this teaching so plain to mankind and for her unselfed love.
