Manifold are the blessings that have come to me since taking up the study of Christian Science a number of years ago. When I began studying "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I was practically an invalid. While under a sense of distressing fear and discouragement as to my future, I found the textbook among several other books I had picked up to place by my bed to read. I began to read it rather curiously, but as the Christ-element unfolded in my thought a buoyancy accompanied the reading and my physical condition underwent a decided change for the better. Before long I could walk some distance; indeed, strength was noticeably regained from the first.

The understanding of Christian Science, even in a degree, does rob the grave of victory. At one time there was a struggle with the "last enemy" for several months, but a greater understanding of Life was my reward for holding steadfast. As a further consequence I was wonderfully comforted while passing through the greatest sorrow of my life, the loss of a dear one. My healing has been permanent and I am now better in every way. The daily study of Mrs. Eddy's works and other authorized literature is constantly clearing my thought of questionings. The interpretation of the Scriptures through the understanding of Christian Science is the pleasantest experience of my life. Recently a problem was happily solved by understanding the references to light as meaning enlightenment, and truly Jesus' constant endeavor was to enlighten mankind about God and man's relation to Him. This same light is with us to-day. Mrs. Eddy has relighted the pathway to harmony by enlightening us as to the meaning of truth.
