It affords me great joy to tell of the healing which I have experienced through Christian Science. I was taken very ill with what the doctors called paralysis and high blood pressure, and was dizzy most of the time. The doctor attended me for over four months, but I kept getting worse. Thanks be to God, the giver of all good, I was healed when I thought the end had come. My wife asked a friend, a Christian Scientist, if she would treat me. Within an hour I began to improve, and I am better now than I have been for twenty-five years. I used to suffer terribly from severe headaches, but now have none of them.

I am learning day by day that God is "a very present help in trouble," and I feel like saying with the psalmist, "Bless the Lord, O my soul." My prayer is that my life may attest my sincerity, as well as my thankfulness to God and my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy.
