In July, 1914, a friend loaned me a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and with the first reading I was convinced that it was the truth. At that time I was not in need of physical healing, but since October of the same year God has been my only physician. I have proved the truth of our Leader's statement on page 261 of our textbook, "Hold thought steadfastly to the enduring the good, and the true, and you will bring these into your experience proportionably to their occupancy of your thoughts."

Colds, headaches, quinsy, and a chronic bowel disorder have been overcome. While I am very thankful for the physical healings, they do not compare with the spiritual understanding of the Bible gained through the teachings of Christian Science. Many blessings have come to me through our periodicals, and my gratitude extends to all the contributors as well as to all the faithful workers, who are following our Leader's commands. My desire is that I may live in conformity with the teachings of Christian Science,—to overcome evil with good and to reflect Love always.
