With gratitude I send this testimony of what Christian Science has done for me and for my family. In March, 1910, I had what the doctor pronounced rheumatic gout, and was under his care for six weeks without relief. Then a friend who came to see me said that Christian Science would heal me. She sent me some literature, in which I read how people were healed by reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and then loaned me a copy of the text-book. I was healed in three weeks through reading this book, and my healing has been permanent. We have had many other demonstrations in our family. Headache, earache, burns, whooping-cough, and chicken-pox have been overcome.

I am grateful to all who have helped me to understand the truth, and for the spiritual uplift. This testimony is my thanksgiving to God for His faithful servant, Mrs. Eddy, who has brought to light the eternal truth of the Bible, thus giving us a correct concept of God and of man.
