El Centro, Cal.—Papers have been passed completing negotiations whereby El Centro Christian Science Society has acquired the property at the northeast corner of Olive and Seventh Streets. This lot is 120 by 140 feet, and is diagonally across the street from the property of the Woman's Ten Thousand Club and two blocks from the Barbara Worth Hotel.
Chicago, Ill.—Another Christian Science church has completed its building and it opens its doors today [June 17]. Ninth Church of Christ, Scientist, at Sixty-second Street and Woodlawn Avenue, is the ninth of the sixteen Christian Science churches in Chicago to achieve its own edifice. The building seats fifteen hundred people and with organ and furnishings will cost in the neighborhood of one hundred and seventy-five thousand dollars. The auditorium is 94 feet wide by 106 feet long.
