In gratitude for blessings that have come to us through...
In gratitude for blessings that have come to us through Christian Science I wish to add my testimony to the many others given in our periodicals. Last winter our daughter, eight years old, had an attack of cold and influenza. Christian Science treatment was given her, and she was getting along nicely, indeed was just about well, when about four o'clock one morning she awoke with her nose bleeding so freely that it seemed necessary to call for help. She was much better in a few minutes, but the trouble seemed to keep coming back every little while. She was treated for this several times during the day, and we kept on reading and working in Science, and by seven o'clock that night she was healed. There were no bad after effects from the loss of so much blood, and the child was able to attend school as usual the next week. This was a proof to us that God is our life.
I was healed of a badly injured ankle in one treatment, and our ten year old son has been healed of croup and colds. Christian Science has been a great help to us in every way, and I am thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for giving us this truth which makes us free.
Mrs. Thomas Emerson, Kewanee, Ill.
