Those who best know what Christian Science teaches are convinced that it is essentially Christian in its premise, its practice, and its ultimate results. It is accomplishing so much by way of good for humanity that it ill becomes those who profess to be interested in the uplift of humanity to antagonize, belittle, or disparage its teachings.

What is needed today is less theorizing and more by way of practical demonstration of the good which has always been possible through the religion taught by Christ Jesus. The Christian Scientist is too busy in his efforts to work out his own salvation—and to the extent of his ability to help his fellow man—to spend any time in denouncing the religious viewpoint of another.
