I am deeply grateful for the understanding of the Bible which I have gained through the study of Christian Science. I find there is no wrong condition which cannot be made right by the practice of the teachings set forth in Science and Health. In November, 1915, I wanted to take an examination in algebra, and called for help from a Christian Science practitioner. Before attempting to work a problem, I let my thoughts dwell on the power and allness of God, until I felt free from fear: then each problem seemed easy. Before Thanksgiving day, word was received that I had passed the examination.

I am grateful for a religion which when practised solves every problem with a perfect result. I have been healed of chronic appendicitis, congestion of the kidneys, infantile paralysis, influenza, and fainting spells. At the time I was healed of the last ailment I had fainted nine times in nine hours. Fifteen minutes after asking for help in Science, I went to sleep, and on awakening felt no return of the trouble and have not since.

For all these blessings I am grateful. I owe our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, a debt which can be repaid only by putting into practice what I understand, and working for a clearer understanding.—Huldah J. Hoag, Burlington, Vt.
