A few years ago I was suffering from such a severe attack of neuritis that opiates had to be administered constantly to alleviate the pain. The doctor said I would not be able to return to work for at least a year, and it seemed that way to me, as I was almost a cripple.

At this time a friend who was interested in Christian Science advised me to try it. I took treatment from a practitioner for two weeks, but not receiving any benefit decided to try medicine again, as the pain seemed unbearable. Divine Love was, however, protecting me, and I became acquainted with a lady who proved to be a friend in need. She consented to give me treatments at my request, with the result that I was entirely healed of the neuritis in two weeks, and also of a goiter. The doctor had told me that a surgical operation was absolutely necessary for the removal of this growth.

Owing to illness I had been compelled to give up my business position, and at the time of this healing my finances were at a very low ebb. Christian Science help was again asked for, and metaphysical work was done for me along these lines, with the inevitable result that soon a much better position was secured, although the conditions in the establishment where I found employment were very discordant and inharmonious. The practitioner was told of this, and she again took up work for me, with the result that the discord was replaced with harmony, and I was also promoted to a better position and received an increase in salary. Kidney trouble of several years' standing has been overcome, and a throat affection and high fever disappeared in a few hours through the work of the same faithful practitioner.
