Prior to my coming into Christian Science I was in the wilderness. As a result of dissipation in various forms I was bordering on a nervous breakdown, very despondent, with no object in life and no desire to live. A friend then advised me to see a Christian Science practitioner, and I did so. From the first treatment I experienced great peace of mind, but the healing seemed slow. I have, however, been healed of the drink and cigarette habits, also of other bad habits, and of a bowel trouble dating from boyhood.

Words fail to express my gratitude for the spiritual uplift, the peace, happiness, and contentment I have gained from studying the Lesson-Sermon. I feel completely regenerated, and am indeed thankful to God and grateful to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
