Funds Still Open

In the Sentinel of Dec. 2, 1916, The Christian Science Board of Directors invited the field to contribute "both individually and through the church and society organizations," the sum of $526,500, to secure title to property adjacent to The Mother Church and necessary for extensions and betterments; also not less than $600,000 for the purposes of the Christian Science Benevolent Association.

As the notice in the Sentinel of Feb. 24, 1917, of the closing of the Memorial Fund has been construed by some to mean the closing of these funds, it may be well to state that they are still open. Up to noon on Friday, March 23, the amount contributed to the Real Estate Fund was $85,339.82, and to the Benevolent Association Fund $210,577.72. These amounts indicate actual cash received, and do not include sums pledged for future payment.

Contributions to these funds, also to the War Relief Fund, will be promptly acknowledged by Adam H. Dickey, Treasurer, 236 Huntington Avenue, Back Bay, Boston, Mass.
