Highland Park, Ill . (First Church).—Prof. Hermann S. Hering, lecturer; introduced by Robert P. Walker, who said in part:—

A very natural question for you to ask would be, What has Christian Science to offer that I do not already possess? In answer I will say that Christian Science does not offer you any new religion or new science, but it does offer the same scientific doctrine that Jesus taught and practised on the hills of Judæa and throughout all Galilee. It also shows you that Jesus' commands, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature," and "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also," were meant not only for his immediate followers and the people living at that time, but for all generations. These commands of our Master are being obeyed today right here in your midst, and in all civilized parts of the entire world, through a knowledge and right application of divine Principle as set forth in the Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy.
