Almost four years ago I welcomed Christian Science with a thought hungry for righteousness. Sickness and discouragement seemed to hold me in chains, for I was suffering from stomach trouble which had become so serious that my heart was affected, and I could not eat enough to satisfy my appetite without experiencing dizziness, followed by a sense of numbness. I could not express my thoughts, and would forget even the names of my nearest friends. This would be my condition for an hour or longer, and there was a constant fear that the sensation would return at any moment. I could do no active work without becoming faint. Since childhood I had suffered from frequent headaches, which became so severe that I was compelled to leave school. I was very unhappy and felt isolated from my young friends.

All these ailments have, however, been entirely overcome through the faithful aid of a Christian Science friend. After the first treatment I was able to read Science and Health without glasses, while before this I could read only a few lines at a time. There has been no return of these complaints in almost four years. For these and many other benefits received I am indeed grateful.

Greatest of all blessings is the broader, happier outlook on life. I hope to live each day more of this beautiful truth, purifying my consciousness, and thereby gaining a clearer understanding of God as unchanging Love, omnipresent and omnipotent. I wish to express my gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for bringing this demonstrable truth within reach of all.—Mabel Mingle, Kalispell, Mont.
