Deep gratitude impels me to testify to the blessings which my family and I have received through Christian Science. For years I suffered with headaches of almost daily recurrence, also with pain in the back and a most distressing stomach trouble. Everything I ate seemed to cause me great pain, and during 1911 and 1912 complications were added which made conditions almost unbearable. The physicians were unable to help me, and my dear ones thought that I was rapidly nearing the end.

Things were, however, to take another turn, proving that "man's extremity" is indeed "God's opportunity." A friend called my attention to Christian Science. I wrote to a practitioner and asked for help, which was readily given. In one treatment my condition improved, and I had my first night's sleep in a long while. After the fourth treatment I was able to eat anything—something which had been impossible for a long time—and was in a fit condition to attend to my household duties. A son also has been healed of bronchial and lung trouble. Two years ago my little daughter had high fever, but she was healed after the first treatment.

With my family I am grateful for having been led to Christian Science. As for the wonderful healings which we have experienced through this glorious truth, we give thanks to God, and regard our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who prepared the way for us, with loving gratitude.
