For over fifteen years Christian Science has been my only physician and guide. I was healed quickly and permanently of physical troubles from which I had suffered all my life,—chronic bronchitis and a weak heart. Later I was healed of an attack of scarlet fever in a severe form, and there were no lingering effects. My eyes also are stronger and my sight is clearer than ever before, and a throat affection has entirely disappeared.

For many years I attended the Christian Science Sunday school and I feel deeply grateful for that privilege. The loving guidance and care received there mean much to me now. I have been led gently but firmly into a truer thought of God, have been taught something of the glorious relationship of man to his divine Principle; and my whole character and outlook have been changed thereby. The Bible has become a daily companion, a wonderful spiritual guide in every circumstance, and my deepest gratitude goes out to our Leader for the light she has thrown on the Scriptures.

Not very long ago I had an experience which was a further proof to me that God is a very present help in time of need. I was attacked quite suddenly with a serious physical trouble and intense pain, and but for the prompt relief which Christian Science affords I might not have survived. There was no period of convalescence, for I went back to my work in a little over a week, richer for the experience because I knew that the demonstration meant God present with me.
