With a grateful heart I relate some instances in which I have experienced blessings through Christian Science. Some years ago I was taken with acute stomach trouble, which caused me intense pain for about two days. During this time two doctors were calld, but they could give no relief. Then my wife telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner who resided at a distance of some three hundred miles. Immediately after the practitioner began to treat me the pain left, and I have not felt it since. About two years ago my right hand was badly injured in a machine, and the doctor at the hosptial where the hand was dressed said it was absolutely necessary to amputate at least one finger. I would not allow him to do so, however, and after about two months' absent treatment from the same Christian Science practitioner, the hand was healed.

Many other difficulties of less importance have been overcome through Christian Science, but above all is the calm and peace of consciousness in knowing that we have a God who is omnipotent Love to lean on. I am very grateful to Mrs. Eddy, and admire her courage in bringing this truth to an unsympathetic world and against so many odds.
