Christian Science came to me sixteen years ago, at a time when I longed and prayed to know and to do what was right, and through its teaching I have gained the peace "which passeth all understanding." I would say to all who are sick and weary that if they will patiently and conscientiously study and apply the teachings of Christian Science, they will gain health and peace. I was healed in one treatment of goiter and anaemia, and have had no return of these troubles. Since then catarrh, chronic headaches, backache, sore feet, and many other ailments have been overcome. I am grateful for all these experiences of healing, but more so for the overcoming of hatred, jealousy, envy, and other phases of sin.

I rejoice daily for the understanding of God and the Bible which I have gained through the study of the Christian Science literature. During the past year I have had more time to study Mrs. Eddy's books and have gained in spiritual understanding. In Science and Health (p. 367) Mrs. Eddy writes, "I long to see the consummation of my hope, namely, the student's higher attainments in this line of light." I am endeavoring to do my part in fulfilling this hope.
