When quite young I became interested in Christian Science...
When quite young I became interested in Christian Science through the healing of a small growth underneath my chin. Although not sufficiently in earnest to hold the truth as a living reality, when trouble or difficulty came I always turned to Science for help and received it. Years went on, and after my marriage and the birth of a little girl I felt more inclined to use this beautiful truth, if not for my own sake for the sake of the child and those about us, as I wanted her to be a Christian Scientist.
Since that time we have had many proofs of God's loving care. When our daughter was two and a half years old she fell against the corner of the stove, breaking her collar bone. As soon as we realized what had happened I telephoned to a practitioner, and in about fifteen minutes the child was laughing again; in a week the soreness was all gone. Numerous other ills have disappeared in the same way. For the physical healing I am grateful, but more so for the mental and moral uplift and for a better understanding of God as a loving Father-Mother, gained through Mrs. Eddy's teachings—Olive E. Iverson, Victoria, B. C., Canada.
