A deep sense of gratitude compels me to tell of a few of my healings through Christian Science. In the spring of 1907, while attending school, I was requested to submit to vaccination. This was very much against my wishes, but rather than lose the term of school I consented. A couple of days later a bad case of blood poisoning developed. A Christian Science practitioner was called, and in four treatments I was absolutely cured.
Christian Science helps me in my work; but for the assistance it has given me, I would not have retained my position, which is a very trying one. Smoking and profanity have been overcome by persistent work on my part, also headaches, colds, and many other ailments. I have not tasted medicine of any kind for eighteen years, but have relied only on Christian Science, which has met all my needs. I get much help from reading the published testimonies.
