It is with a heart filled with love and gratitude that I give my testimony. Although I have been but a short time in Christian Science, during that brief period many blessings have come to me and mine, my mother and three sisters having also been greatly benefited since coming into Science. I did not turn to it for physical healing, but during my study of the Bible, and of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I have been entirely free from colds and eye trouble, — sties also were instantaneously destroyed when the truth was declared.

I am indeed very grateful for these healings, but more so for the peace of mind that has come to me through the understanding of what God really is. I have come to know that no matter in what difficulty we find ourselves, God is with us; His ever protecting care has been proven to me many times. A short time ago I attended a lecture which was given in Fourth Church of Christ, Scientist, New York City. I had never been to the church before, and not being familiar with the neighborhood was somewhat confused on leaving the subway station. However, as I began to walk a feeling of protection came over me, and trusting in God, I let Him lead the way. And how lovingly I was guided!

Words cannot express my deep gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, who was pure enough and strong enough to bring to light this glorious truth. My greatest desire is to live up to Jesus' command, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." — Ruth O.
