At the end of 1911 my health was most unsatisfactory. I was suffering from many internal troubles and was planning to go into a nursing home for examination prior to an operation, as the doctor was of the opinion that I had a growth. Just at this time a friend spoke of Christian Science and took me to a practitioner, who most kindly gave me treatment. The acute symptoms disappeared, and in five treatments I was healed. That was four years ago, and the healing has been permanent.

I cannot express my gratitude for this physical healing; but what I appreciate still more is the knowledge that it was God's healing. It has taught me to know Him as I never did before. When I first heard of Christian Science, my circumstances were sad and the outlook was gloomy. Now divine Love has indeed opened up many channels quite unexpectedly, and all the conditions of my life have become brighter, changed for the better in every way. I am glad to take this opportunity of letting others know that "with God all things are possible," and am grateful to our Leader, who, as God's messenger to this age, has given expression to this glorious truth which raises mankind spiritually, physically, and mentally.—Katey Godfrey, Hyde Park W., London, England.
