I feel deeply grateful for what Christian Science has done...

I feel deeply grateful for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me. I was very unhappy, my home was discordant, and I had reached the place where I prayed to die, since this appeared to be the only thing left for me to do. There seemed to be lack and desolation everywhere, friends proved false, and material pleasures ceased to satisfy. Although I had known of Christian Science, I felt it could not bring happiness to me. Finally turning to God like a tired child willing to be led, and truly saying, "Not my will, but thine, be done," I found peace. Love was not quick to deliver me, for I had to learn through suffering; but when I was grateful for every hard experience I began to see the light. Our home became harmonious and many blessings poured into my life. I have found real friends and what pleasure really is when we live in the realm of Love.

We have had many proofs of God's loving care, and for three years divine Love has met our every need. I wish to express my gratitude to the dear friends who so lovingly helped me, for the periodicals, and for our dear Leader.
