I submit this testimony with a sense of deep gratitude to our almighty Father, from whom proceedeth all healing power. For years I suffered from a chronic bowel trouble, and was hindered in my activities by varicose veins in one of my limbs, which finally opened in one place. Medical skill proved inadequate to relieve me of this distressing condition. In my capacity as owner of a rather extensive tailoring establishment I have to be on my feet from morning till night. Every one, therefore, will realize how I felt to be kept by these troubles from attending to my business, which supplied my income. But God heard my prayers.

My attention was drawn to Christian Science by a dear friend who made me acquainted with its teachings, and I soon felt that I had found the right way and that God was nearer than I thought. All sense of disharmony yielded, and now I am perfectly free and able to attend to my work without experiencing pain and without any sense of worry ; and there will be no return of either, for I no longer fear them as having power, but reject them as error. I realize that God is All-in-all, and His love encompasseth me; therefore I am not afraid of anything. With the many who through Mrs. Eddy's teachings have found again the way pointed out by our Lord and Master, I would say with the psalmist, "Bless the Lord, O my soul : and all that is within me, bless his holy name." — Frau Mathilde Kunert, Berlin, Germany.
