It would be impossible to express in words the wonderful change that has been wrought in my life through the teachings of Christian Science. I have been studying and applying the truth for almost eight years, and in that time it has solved every problem presented to me.

Christian Science has lifted me up from the deepest despondency, and has healed me of a violent temper and a quarrelsome disposition. It has taken hatred and envy out of my life, and in its place has given me a great measure of the peace that passes all human understanding. In less than two weeks after taking up the study of Science and Health and beginning to take treatment, I was healed instantaneously of the tobacco habit of fifteen years' duration, and with that went all desire for alcoholic drinks. I have been able to overcome for myself falling hair and to restore hair growth on a bald spot. The hair is now growing normally all over my scalp.

For years I had been a sufferer from organic heart disease, which at times made it necessary for me to sleep propped up with pillows. No special treatment was given for this trouble, which vanished with the general purification of my thought. A malignant growth that caused me unspeakable agony seemed to defy the practitioner's treatments; but as my thoughts became more spiritual the pain grew less, and suddenly the misery completely faded away, so that now only a small discoloration of the skin remains. Many other ailments have disappeared.
