The first words of the Preface of Science and Health (p. vii), "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, today is big with blessings," have been proven many times in our home within the past seven years. With the exception of the practitioner when we first came into Science, the Bible and Science and Health have been our only help in a family of four, and not only for ourselves but for the many other problems that come up on a farm. There have been times when it seemed we must have help, but the thought would come that it is not the practitioner that heals; it is God, and He "is no respecter of persons."

We have been truly blessed in many ways. Mrs. Eddy says that "every trial of our faith in God makes us stronger" (Science and Health, p. 410). It is the proving of the truth that gives us such happiness. For the new understanding of the Bible which I have gained I daily thank God; and for all the benefits received I am deeply thankful to Him and grateful to Mrs. Eddy. My sincere desire is for a constantly increasing understanding of Christian Science. Each day brings added proofs of the power and allness of God.
