It is with the deepest sense of gratitude that I send this acknowledgment of some of the things Christian Science has done for me. I was almost an invalid from what was diagnosed as perforation of the large intestine, accompanied by hemorrhages from time to time. I was greatly helped by Christian Science treatment when the attacks came on, but the complete healing was effected only as I studied our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and tried to live according to its teachings.

I was also perfectly healed of a diseased condition of the facial bone, which would at times partly lock the jaws, allowing me to open my mouth only far enough to put one finger between the teeth. A few years ago acute lung trouble was overcome for me, and since then I have been healed of spasms of the heart in a most violent form. I know that I owe my life to the healing power of Truth as revealed through Christian Science. My eldest daughter was perfectly and permanently cured of a terrible from of erysipelas, leaving no scars. She was also healed of what was diagnosed as chronic appendicitis after having had three attacks. There has been no return in over six years.

While I am deeply grateful for these and many more healings, I am much more grateful for the wonderful regeneration of thought and life that has taken place in me. I have depended entirely on Christian Science for ten years and it has never failed me. This Science of Life has given me a different outlook on life and man, has made me less selfish, and is proving to me every day what our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, tells us in Science and Health (p. 494), that "divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."—Margaret J.
