It is with the deepest sense of gratitude that I testify to the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science. Persistent study and application of its Principle are resulting in a constant unfoldment of harmony and a corresponding casting out of many discords.

I began a study of the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, to obtain relief from physical suffering. I studied carefully and critically at first, understanding little and doubting much of what I read. Nevertheless, within a week the healing ministry of Truth began to free me from pride, ignorance, doubt, and pain. Then followed the healing of an abdominal trouble which had failed to yield to years of medical treatment. During the six years that have intervened, the honest application of the truth has successfully solved problems of every conceivable nature. A structural defect of the eyes was healed, freeing me from the bondage of glasses; stomach disorder was entirely destroyed, and a severely sprained ankle yielded in a few hours. Not only has Christian Science healed me when necessary, but its preventive power is making the necessity of physical healing of rare occurrence.

I found an understanding of the Principle of Christian Science especially applicable to the work of school-teaching. In proportion to my own growth in understanding of the normal inheritance of intelligence, the love and order belonging to God's children, these qualities were manifested in the class-room. I am gratefully conscious that Christian Science is working a marked change in character, slowly but surely eliminating criticism, envy, false pride, resentment, and other traits that do not belong to a child of God. With this transformation of character there is an unfolding of greater love, a strengthening and broadening of the sense of human affection.
