As a living witness to the healing power of Truth as revealed in Christian Science, and with a heart overflowing with gratitude to God, I write this testimony. Having been greatly helped by reading the experiences of others, I hope some one may get the same good from my testimony. After having been to some of the best physicians in Chicago (not less than seven), and going before a clinic, I went to one of the large hospitals and consulted an eminent surgeon. I was told that I must stay in the hospital two weeks before he would say what he could do for me. The doctors had said that I had locomotor ataxia, and extreme remedies had been applied in an effort to reach the seat of the trouble. Through a Sentinel, which was given me by a friend, I became interested in Christian Science, and it has healed me, not only of this trouble but also of headaches and many other ills. I had used tobacco in all forms for twenty-seven years, but as I began to understand the truth about God, this habit left me.

The Bible and Science and Health have been my only teachers. I have enjoyed the privilege of helping others, also of attending the regular services in one of the Chicago churches and telling the story of my great blessing. I thank God that He found some one good enough to give this truth to the world, that all may be free.
