I feel it a duty to write my testimony, it being only another witness to the truth contained in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I did not accept Christian Science on account of any healing of my own, but after seeing my wife, who had been a great sufferer from many ailments, restored to perfect health with only a few treatments in Christian Science, I felt that it was worth looking into. I had become an agnostic in early life, and also an unbeliever in materia medica. After my wife's healing I immediately took up the study of the text-book and other Christian Science literature. Through this study many errors have been overcome, among them the tobacco habit of thirty years' standing, social drinking, and profanity, as well as a quick temper and thoughts of malice and revenge.
Christian Science has been our only remedy for all ills for the past six years. I am thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for this truth.—N. L. Hobart, Medford, Mass.
