I am so thankful for what Christian Science has done for me that I feel I want to give my testimony to the world, with the hope that it may benefit others and be the means of leading them to our loving Father. I was completely healed of an internal growth which had been increasing for more than a year, and finally became so painful that I thought I could not endure it much longer. Many were the sleepless nights that I passed. This growth developed to such an extent that it became necessary to alter all my clothes in order to wear them. My condition became so alarming to my husband as well as myself that we consulted two doctors, who both said that if I expected to live much longer, it would be absolutely necessary to go to a hospital without delay and have an operation performed. In my exhausted condition I could not think of doing this, and I reasoned that God had healed others and He could heal me. I then resolved to trust myself to God's care and take up Christian Science. I sent at once for a practitioner. After the first treatment there was such a decided improvement that for the first time in months I slept peacefully all night, and in less than a week the growth had entirely disappeared, so that I was again my normal size. There has been no return of the trouble.

I have since been healed of a severe throat affection, with which I was troubled at times for a number of years, and also of rheumatism. An injured ankle was relieved in fifteen minutes, so that I kept right on with my work the rest of the day. Influenza was healed in one night, and a growth removed from my eye which had been there twenty-five years. Besides these I have received many other benefits.

While I am indeed very thankful for these blessings, I am also deeply grateful for the light, truth, comfort, and spiritual understanding that come to me every day through Christian Science. Truly life is now worth living.
