I wish to testify to the wonderful healing that took place...
I wish to testify to the wonderful healing that took place in my family. My son, then ten years old, was suddenly taken sick. Our family doctor was called, and he pronounced the trouble appendicitis. He also said that an operation was the only means that would save the boy. We then called three other doctors, one the leading surgeon of the city. They said that I had delayed too long and they could do nothing, but that an operation would be taking eight chances to one. They also said that peritonitis had set in and that there was no hope. I then called a Christian Science practitioner to treat the boy. Very soon thereafter I discharged the physicians and left the case with the practitioner, with the result that in a week's time the boy was thoroughly healed, and has never been ill since. He is a big, healthy boy today, in his eighteenth year.
We are very thankful to God, and grateful to Christian Science for the good it has done for our family and for the saving of our son.
