The deepest gratitude prompts me to write this testimony about the healing of a disease with which I became afflicted in 1913. Through kind people we became acquainted with Christian Science, and after I put myself under the care of a practitioner I recovered, and have been quite well ever since. It was a serious case of appendicitis, and the physicians said that I certainly must submit to an operation; but this has been proven unnecessary. I give this testimony with a heart full of gratitude to God, and with the hope that it may point out to some fellow being the way to Christian Science, which brings to the world blessings only, and peace.
