It is with heartfelt gratitude that I offer this testimony...
It is with heartfelt gratitude that I offer this testimony to my wonderful healing through Christian Science. More than a year ago two doctors told me that I would have to submit to a surgical operation for a growth in the left breast. Having had two such operations in the past eight years, I felt that death would be preferable to undergoing another, and I told the doctors so. Several friends spoke to me about Christian Science, but I could see no hope in it, and felt that I would have to leave my husband and children. A few weeks later a friend of mine living in a near-by city wrote me that she had a few days before learned of my condition, and that the lady to whom she was speaking told her that she had been healed in Christian Science of the same trouble three years before.
I then sought a Christian Science practitioner, who assured me that God would heal me, and that I need not leave my loved ones. In a short time the growth began to disappear, and after five weeks' treatment it was entirely gone. My general health improved, and people now look at me in astonishment and ask why I look so well. My husband has also been healed of a complication of diseases, from which the doctors offered us little hope of recovery. We thank God for the great blessings He has given us, both spiritual and physical, in Christian Science as taught by Mrs. Eddy in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." I trust that some one may be led to Christian Science through this testimony, as I feel that I would never have become interested in it in any other way than through the healing. We are so much happier in every way through the teachings of Christian Science that we wish every one could share our blessings.
Mrs. James Pearson, Stockett, Mont.
