I am indeed happy to give my testimony to what Christian Science has done for me. A little over a year ago I was taken with a sudden illness,—throat trouble and fever. I called for help, and in a few days was able to be up and enjoy my meals; but in about eight days from the time of my first attack all the symptoms returned, and, as it seemed, in exaggerated form. I tried to realize the truth of being, but as the pain was so severe I had to ask for help. A practitioner called and gave me treatement, telling me to rise and dress myself.

The next day being Sunday, I went to church. All during the service I was continually declaring the truth, and as the organ pealed forth a beautiful strain on leaving the church, a sense of thankfulness came over me for the privilege of being there. Then came instant healing, for every trace of pain and fever disappeared, and I was able to walk home, a distance of about a mile. The following week my husband, who was similarly attacked, was healed in a very short time.

For all this I am truly grateful, since it clearly proved to me the efficacy of Christian Science. I now know that the truth does make us free. I am thankful to God, and also grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has labored so patiently and lovingly for us.
